This historical illo was commissioned by Infamous Productions for the cover of a musical CD about this flame-haired warrior Queen of the Iceni, who caused the Roman invaders so much trouble in the 1st Century AD.

I'm fascinated by ancient history, especially this period, so it was a pleasure for me to research and tackle an illustration of this remarkable woman.
