One of four paintings I did based on the zodiac but attempting a different take on the usual symbolism. Also entitled: By a Seashore. Here the babe carried by the Capricorn Goat gestates in a quiet place by the ocean, in waiting beneath fluffy clouds (watery air) and the watchful gaze of Saturn and a seven-pointed star. .
